Got an ad offering free athletic testing and thought it was too good to be true but nope it was exactly as advertised and far exceeded my expectations. Both training at the gym with Joel and doing footy skill sessions on the weekend with coach Hamilton had me more fit, healthy and prepared than i’d ever been for the upcoming season and I loved every minute of it. I then unfortunately suffered an unlucky season ending injury before the season even started so Joel immediately adapted my training and motivated me to keep working and improving despite my circumstances and i’m so grateful for that because i’ve already made massive progress in my recovery way faster than expected while also getting stronger everywhere else at the same time. Overall, just an unbelievably good group of people with great vibes that make it a really fun and enjoyable environment to train in, as well as world class coaching both in the gym and on the field. Again, could not recommend enough. 10/5 stars Alexander Marklew2024-04-09 I booked in to see Joel at SXD 12 weeks ago with a really bad back that was causing me extremely bad pain. I had just had a week off work, couldn’t back squat, rdl or bend down to pick something up off the ground. I’ve been Working closing with Joel 1:1 twice a week and it has been a blessing in disguise. I’m now back playing footy, feeling really strong, pain free and most importantly I’m mentally happier than I’ve ever been. Joel would ring and message me weekly on top of my session to check in on my body and health, he changes my program regularly to suit what’s best for me outside of his gym. If you find yourself in any distress or discomfort, in the gym or at work, with your body or mentally fatigued I highly recommend booking into see Joel to get back on track. Joels attention to detail in explaining excersises and his care factor is first class, he’s worked hard on making me feel confident and have better form so I can complete the correct perfect rep every single time. 5 stars out of 5 for Joely.
